Solutions to common problems of plastic pipe equipment (I)

In terms of plastic pipe equipment, due to various reasons such as operators' lack of experience in process and machine operation, plastic pipes often have rough outer surface, internal wobble ring, uneven wall thickness, and insufficient roundness. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the process in time to eliminate the failure of plastic pipe production line in order to improve product quality.


1. The outer surface of the plastic pipe is rough.

Adjust the process temperature; lower the cooling water temperature, the suitable cooling water temperature for PE pipe is 20 ~ 25℃; check whether the water line is blocked or the water pressure is not enough; check whether the heating ring of the barrel and head is damaged; adjust the inlet flow of the sizing sleeve; check the performance and batch number of raw materials; check the core temperature of the chip. Lower the core temperature if it is higher than the temperature of the mold part; clean the aggregates of the mold.


2. The outer surface of plastic pipe will show groove marks

Adjust the outlet pressure of the sizing sleeve to balance the outlet water volume; adjust the angle of the nozzle in the vacuum sizing box to ensure uniform cooling of the pipe; check the hardware such as the mouth mold, sizing sleeve and cutting machine for debris and burrs. ;


3. Notch mark appears on the inner surface.

Check if the inner pipe is filled with water and if so, clamp the pipe blank tightly just out of the mold to seal its inner cavity; reduce the internal temperature of the mold; clean and polish the mold.


4. Jitter ring inside the pipe


adjust the water coming out of the sizing sleeve to make it even; adjust the vacuum of the two chambers so that the vacuum of the rear chamber is slightly higher than that of the front chamber; check whether the vacuum gasket is too tight; check whether the tractor is jittering; check whether the discharge of the main machine is even.


5. No vacuum

Check whether the vacuum pump inlet is blocked, if blocked, unblock it; check whether the vacuum pump is working normally; check whether the vacuum tube is leaking; check whether the small hole in the middle of the core compression screw is blocked, if blocked, unblock it with a fine wire.


6. The outer diameter of the tube is super poor.

The size of the outer circle can be changed by adjusting the vacuum degree. Adjusting the traction speed can change the size of the outer circle; modifying the inner hole size of the sizing sleeve.
